Awesome

For some reason this reminds me of Out of This World. I loved that game. That aside, the style and animation in this is amazing. Decent techno beat as well. You make me want to ditch the line tool and try to ink my lines once again, but I am afraid.

BritishMoose responds:

You're too kind! Thanks very much mate; ace that you enjoy my 'work'.

Don't be scared to experiment...the brush tool doesn't bite (hard)

:D

Omgosh!

Flippin' awesome. I haven't seen animation and color schemes like that in a long time. How long did this one take you? Also, on a side note, did you know there is a way for the quality of your movie to auto scale to someone's computer based on their speed?

Oh Wow

Flippin' awesome artwork. It reminds me of a better version of the cutscenes in Max Payne. I was really intrigued by the storyline and the use of simple animation really added to the digital comic. Kudos. +fav.

Amazing

Primal War has been one of my favorite animations to watch and you seem to pump them out incredibly fast given the amount of detail put into every scene. You have a great understanding of camera angles and colors. I am adding you as a favorite artist right now, and I don't know why it took me so long.

Swank

It's refreshing to see such a different media used. I'm not entirely sure how to review this. If I watched this same animation done directly with Flash I wouldn't be impressed, and yet watching it here I am. Am I being too hard on kids who try to do their work in Flash? A mouse is much harder to draw with than chalk in the first place, so I should be easier on them, but the time it takes to do the web shots is so much longer...Anyways, I'm rambling, good job.

Graeme responds:

dont worry about rambling. it's good to hear opinions.

although i am the opposite. if i would have done that same thing with flash, it would have taken about 5 minutes. but with chalk it took about 2 hours. chalk is very awkwardly shaped, and not very smooth going.

Haloesque

I enjoyed watching Link shift through time while screaming all the while. The joke after that was predictable but I enjoyed the art style. Not too much in the way of animation or length, would have been nice to seen more happen, but you got a joke out and it served its purposed. Good job.

EpicPopcorn responds:

Lol, you knew he was gonna Tbag Link? o_O

Interesting

You did a good job of synchronizing the animation to the music. The animation itself was rather simple, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I was really impressed by the one scene where the car is reflecting off the road. Exceptionally well done.

Great Piece

I want to get this out of the way, but you should have broken this up into chunks. Waiting for 10 MB of data to load is unnecessary. You could have had the preloader load the first part while it kept downloading, in a pseudo stream fashion. Technical aspects aside, I really enjoyed all of the 3d work. My favorites were when you cut in the live action. I would like to see the entire scene of some of these. The music kept the pace, which was nice to see. Being that I use 3d to setup a lot of my art scenes, I can really appreciate what you are doing.

Interesting

I really enjoy your art style. Some of the scenes are rather detailed and it was really interesting to see an FBF with an emboss filter. I had a few technical issues, the audio needs work, the voices seem distant, and why do I have to hit play twice? For a movie under 1 MB I shouldn't have to hit play at all. Other than that, I was intrigued by the piece.

demoninabottle responds:

thanks man!! Glad you liked it

Oh My

Quite the beautiful fluid style you have going on there. That was a great audio choice as well, love that bass. Ninjas are so adorable.
